The
Good Spoke
The Rotary Club of Meriden publishes
The Good Spoke, its full color weekly bulletin. The front
portion of the bulletin provides current information regarding projects, speakers, happy dollars, visits to other clubs, etc.
This year the club began e-mailing the newsletter to all club members on Monday, the day before our weekly meeting,
to announce the speaker for the following day's lunch. We believe that this
has increased attendance. The bulletins are delivered through
e-mail, or fax if a person does not have an e-mail address. Additional “hard” copies of the bulletin are distributed at the weekly luncheon. We feel that this method has greatly improved the communication of our club. The happy dollars are printed each week in
The Good Spoke, which has increased the donation that the club will make to the Rotary International Foundation to name
three additional
Paul Harris
Fellows.
